Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the NRI Rishtey website and mobile application (the "Service"). By registering for or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to marry under the laws applicable to you to create an account. By registering, you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you are creating a genuine matrimonial profile for yourself or, where permitted, on behalf of an immediate family member with their consent.

2. Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at privacy@teckusa.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Membership Plans & Payments

• Paid membership plans are one-time purchases valid for the duration stated on the plan (e.g. 3, 6 or 12 months) — they do not auto-renew or auto-charge you.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• Plan benefits (contact views, interest limits, profile highlighting, etc.) are described at the time of purchase and are subject to change for future purchases.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable once a plan has been activated.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Create a fake, impersonated, or misleading profile
• Harass, threaten, defraud or solicit money from other members
• Upload photos or content that are obscene, defamatory, or infringe someone else's rights
• Use the Service for any commercial solicitation not related to genuine matrimonial purposes
• Attempt to access another member's account or scrape/collect other members' data

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion.

5. Content You Provide

You retain ownership of the profile information and photos you upload. By posting them, you grant NRI Rishtey a license to display them to other members as part of operating the Service, in line with your visibility settings and our Privacy Policy.

6. No Guarantee of Matches

NRI Rishtey is a platform to help members connect — we do not guarantee that you will find a match, that compatibility scores predict relationship success, or that other members' information is accurate. You're responsible for exercising your own judgment, including verifying details before meeting anyone in person.

7. Account Deactivation & Deletion

You may deactivate (temporarily hide) or permanently delete your account at any time. See our Account & Data Deletion page for how.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, NRI Rishtey is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including interactions with other members.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
